Shapla Primary School had a fantastic school journey at Cardfields learning new experiences, enjoying the five acres of grounds, and making the most of being in the Essex countryside.

With a fantastic programme the children had the opportunity to learn new skills, made new friends and enjoyed the home comforts at Cardfields. The programme included:

• Archery
• Trebuchet
• BMX Biking
• Visiting the historic village of Terling
• Making new friends at Terling Primary School, talking about village life
• Bushcraft – building small campfires and cooking
• Campfire under the stars
• Orienteering to Heather Hills
• Shelter building in the woods
• and much more.

A wonderful week was had by all. Shapla Primary school stated, “Thank you all for fantastic experiences and looking after us so well”.
