Our facilities
Cardfields provides homely and comfortable facilities, with new showers, a comfortable lounge area, and decor in keeping with the natural surroundings. There are 11 bedrooms and plenty of beds, meaning we are perfect for large groups.

The grounds
The centre has been designed for our guests to enjoy a range of activities, with:
- a climbing structure
- BMX tracks
- floodlit multi use games area
- a football pitch
- wooded areas
- ponds
- lawns
- picnic areas.
It is ideal for nature lovers and those that like to be more active. There is also a lovely sunken garden and a flock of chickens that provide our eggs!
How to find us
Cardfields is easily accessible. We are about 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street by train and easy to get to by car or coach. The surrounding area provides plenty of opportunities to get out and about, being in close proximity to Colchester Castle, Colchester Zoo, the River Chelmer and Marsh Farm.
