Hugh Myddleton School – Year 5 was welcomed to Cardfields for four days of fun-packed activities at the end of April.

With the sun shining the young people had the opportunity to take part in lots of outdoor activities as well as enjoying the beautiful grounds at Cardfields and local Essex countryside.

During their school journey, the children made new friendships, become more independent, and had a great time learning new skills such as:

• Orienteering around Cardfields as well as walking to Heather Hills
• Shelter building
• Bug hunts
• Pond dipping
• BMX biking
• Gardening
• Bushcraft
• Team challenges
