School journey fun for Robert Blair Primary School

Robert Blair Primary School was welcomed back to Cardfields for a fun packed week of activities.

The young people arrived on the Monday morning so excited for the week ahead, they could not wait to explore the house and grounds at Cardfields.

Even though the weather wasn’t great during the week the rain didn’t stop them getting stuck in learning new skills and enjoying the outdoor environment. They took part in:

  • Orienteering  to Heather Hills
  • Shelter building in the woods
  • Cooking and decorating Halloween cookies
  • Pumpkin carving
  • Making Paracord bracelets – creative art work
  • Save the balloon – with great team work
  • BMXing – learning how to ride a bike and tackling the BMX tracks
  • Andrew Goldsworthy art activities – amazing art work shown in the picture above!
  • and much more..

Janet Coulburne, Deputy Headteacher of Robert Blair attended for the week, “the young people had an amazing time at Cardfields, enjoyed all activities and loved the home cooked food.”
