Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School had a fun-filled activity week at Cardfields enjoying all the facilities and grounds as well as venturing out into the Essex countryside.

With a packed programme the young people experienced learning new skills on and off-site such as:

• BMX Biking
• Pond dipping – looking at pond life and identifying insects in the lab
• Stone painting an insect or bug
• Observational drawing
• Orienteering to Heather Hills
• Being creative in the Woodland Fashion Show
• Andrew Goldsworthy natural sculptures (picture shows the great creations from the young people)
• Rope Runners (high ropes course)
• Ice skating at Riverside Ice & Leisure

A fantastic time was had by all especially enjoying the fabulous weather and making most of the outdoor area.
