Stephen John and his family were welcomed to Cardfields for a week stay during October half term. They were attending a big family wedding in the Essex area. Cardfields was their base, they made the most of the amenities available and explored enjoyed exploring the Essex countryside. Mr John and his family had amazing stay and look forward to returning.

Mr John stated “We were looking for self-catering accommodation for a group of 35-40 in Essex for a week. After spending lot of time on net eventually we found one place. Which is called CARDFIELDS, this place perfectly fitted within out requirements. It’s an old Victorian country house close to river Chelmer.

Cardfields, have been designed very beautifully. People can enjoy range of activities at this place. BMX track, equipped games room, floodlit multi games area, football pitch, ponds, lawns and picnic area. Top of all they have area for BBQ & Campfire.

My family and our all guest enjoyed their stay at Cardfields and still discuss about it. The rooms were very spacious, and bedding was superb. Washroom & toilet were very clean. It’s a best place for self-catering, and kitchen facilities were amazing.

I strongly recommend this place for large group because prices are very reasonable. Staff very cooperative and helpful. Would like to mention Duty Manager Elaine Clarke, such a wonderful lady with graceful personality. She was so helpful, we felt she is part of our family group. Hopefully will go back there to stay very soon.
