Rotherfield Primary School – Year 6 group are having a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful sunshine and making most of the outdoor environment within the 5 acres of grounds at Cardfields.

An eventful week is being had by all learning new skills including:

• Orienteering – learning to read a compass
• 6 Mile walk to Heather Hills enjoying the Essex countryside, building shelters, and learning about the natural environment
• Gardening – sowing seeds within our home garden
• BMX biking
• More activities to come such as Bush Craft (building a small campfire and cooking toast), clay modelling, pond dipping, team challenges, and Andrew Goldsworthy – Natural sculpture

Children continue to enjoy the activities with lots of smiling, happy faces. They are also looking forward to their BBQ tomorrow evening being prepared by our chef Lee.
